UNUSUAL SOCIAL DISTANCE PHOTO SESSIONS MAKE RESIDENTS SMILED AND HELP TO SUPPORT NHS
Things are pretty different right now aren’t they? A LOT of us are really impacted personally or know someone who is by the current pandemic. Daily life has been disrupted. And it’s brought a lot of fear and uneasiness…but some good stuff as well…As you all know I recently joined up with other photographers to launch “The Front Steps Project,” an effort to raise money for the local hospital the — and offer families a unique and happy memory of this strange time in history. The purpose of this project is to bring people together when they are all feeling isolated. During last few days was offering the special 5 minute POSITIVE sessions in our local area. The hope was to highlight the faces of our sweet community during a time when we were not seeing them out and about at the favourite Dunstable hangouts. As a photographer, this is a uniquely strange time, as I am used to interacting with babies, kids, parents, all that need me to capture their moments in lifetime.
This is why when I heard about the “Front Step Project”, I knew I had to jump on board. Thank you all !
